Text Search

The search feature allows you to find quizzes by their titles:

  • Search Field - Located at the top of the quiz dashboard
  • Search Icon - Magnifying glass icon indicates search function
  • Real-time Results - Filtering happens as you type
  • Clear Button - X button to quickly clear search terms

How Search Works

  1. Type in Search Field - Enter any part of a quiz title
  2. Instant Filtering - Results update immediately as you type
  3. Case Insensitive - Search works regardless of capitalization
  4. Partial Matching - Finds quizzes containing your search term

Available Sort Options

The dashboard provides sorting for all major columns with different behaviors:

Title Sorting

  • Alphabetical Order - A to Z or Z to A
  • Click Once - Sorts ascending (A-Z)
  • Click Again - Sorts descending (Z-A)
  • Visual Indicator - Arrow shows current sort direction

Date Sorting (Last Updated)

  • Chronological Order - Newest first or oldest first
  • Click Once - Shows most recently updated quizzes first
  • Click Again - Shows oldest quizzes first
  • Useful For - Finding recent work or outdated quizzes

Advanced Enum Sorting

Gender, Category, and Status columns use advanced cycling sorts:

The Gender column cycles through 6 different sort orders:

  1. Male → Female → Unisex
  2. Unisex → Female → Male
  3. Female → Unisex → Male
  4. Male → Unisex → Female
  5. Female → Male → Unisex
  6. Unisex → Male → Female

Each click advances to the next sort pattern.

Category Sorting Cycles

The Category column provides 6 different arrangements:

  1. Top → Bottom → Both
  2. Bottom → Top → Both
  3. Both → Top → Bottom
  4. Top → Both → Bottom
  5. Bottom → Both → Top
  6. Both → Bottom → Top

Status Sorting Cycles

The Status column alternates between:

  1. Draft → Active (drafts first)
  2. Active → Draft (active quizzes first)

❌ Status Values - Can’t search “draft” or “active”
