Quiz Information & Settings
Configure the essential information and general settings for your size recommendation quizzes. These fundamental settings determine how your quiz appears to customers and how it functions within your store.
Quiz Title
The quiz title is the primary identifier for your quiz in the SmartSize AI Fit Recommender dashboard and is used for internal organization.
Best Practices for Quiz Titles
Use descriptive, specific names:
✅ Good: "Women's T-Shirts - Cotton Collection"
✅ Good: "Men's Jeans - Slim Fit"
✅ Good: "Unisex Hoodies - Oversized Style"
❌ Avoid: "Quiz 1"
❌ Avoid: "Test"
❌ Avoid: "New Quiz"
Title Guidelines
- Be Specific: Include gender, garment type, and collection/style when applicable
- Keep It Organized: Use consistent naming conventions across your quizzes
- Make It Searchable: Use keywords that help you find the quiz quickly
- Consider the Future: Choose names that will still make sense as your catalog grows
Character Limits
- Maximum Length: 100 characters
- Recommended Length: 30-50 characters for optimal display
- Special Characters: All standard characters are supported
Quiz ID and Reference
Every quiz is automatically assigned a unique Quiz ID when created. This ID is used for:
- API Integration: Connecting quizzes to your Shopify theme
- Generic Blocks: Using the “Button with fixed Quiz” app block
- Analytics: Tracking quiz performance
- Technical Support: Referencing specific quizzes
Finding Your Quiz ID
- Navigate to Fit Quizzes in your SmartSize AI Fit Recommender dashboard
- Your Quiz ID appears in the browser URL when editing:
/app/quizzes/[QUIZ_ID]
- The ID is also displayed in the quiz editor interface

- Creation Order: More recently created quizzes have higher priority
- Active Status: Only active quizzes are considered for customer display
Measurement Units
Configure how measurements are collected and displayed to customers.
Available Options:
- Metric (Centimeters): Default for most international stores
- Imperial (Inches): Common for US-based stores
- Auto-Convert: Allow customers to choose their preferred unit
Unit Conversion Settings:
✅ Enable unit conversion for international customers
✅ Set default unit based on your primary market
✅ Consider your customer base location
Quiz Status
Control when your quiz becomes available to customers.
Draft Status:
- Quiz is not visible to customers
- Used for testing and configuration
- Allows safe editing without affecting live store
Active Status:
- Quiz is live and available to customers
- Shows in product pages based on associations
- Begins collecting customer data
